About Us

Greenville Jet Center has been serving the aviation community of Upstate South Carolina for over 35 years.

Company founder Hank Brown has more than 57 years of experience at the Greenville Downtown Airport (GMU). He started pumping fuel and washing airplanes at our airport as a teenager, and  worked his way to line service supervisor, corporate pilot, chief pilot for Hollingsworth on Wheels, and the owner and operator of multiple Fixed Based Operators (FBOs).

He started his first FBO, Greenville Jet Center, at GMU in 1989. And in later years, expanded his FBO network to include Donaldson Jet Center.

Hank was also instrumental in the creation and funding of Runway Park at GMU, a very popular aviation themed children’s playground located next to the Runway Cafe.

As a member of numerous aviation organizations, and a life member of the South Carolina Aviation Association, he has more than 15,000 hours as pilot in command and over 5,000 hours in turboprop airpcraft.

Hank’s most prized accomplishments are reflected not only in the multitudes of satisfied customers over the years, but also in his fostering a love of aviation in his employees, and other aviation enthusiasts of the community. Many of these people have gone on to enjoy successful careers in aviation.

With a dedication to customer service and safety, Greenville Jet Center has now become the largest FBO in South Carolina, at the busiest general aviation airport in the state.
